Explaining how bodybuilders and fitness models can use running as part of their fatburning programme, here bodybuilder Dan takes on fitness model and personal trainer Ben – in an outdoor session which is designed to keep the heart rate up over a period of time in order to burn fat. Rather than do their cardio on a running machine, these two fitness athletes go for a series of competitive challenges, starting with 200m against the clock. This is not about speed – it’s simply a way of keeping the heart rate up to achieve maxiumum fat burning. It’s part of a two hour session that includes 100m, 50m, tyre flipping and abs circuit – which you can see in the video responses below.
